Target’s internal creative team relies on Cut Print Lock to “find the story” in their short documentary projects. This Cat & Jack project had the makings of a story from the outset, but needed skilled storytellers to find the right moments and make those land with maximum impact. We distilled hours of interviews with both Cat & Jack designers and a grateful parent to show just how meaningful inclusive design choices can be. We also tirelessly searched for the perfect music track with Target’s creatives, landing on a reflective piece that efficiently adds to the story while also layering in sophistication. The results speak for themselves: Cat & Jack Adaptive was a top performer on Instagram with unusually high engagement.

Weaving together a sensitive family story, design specifications and a home makeover in 115 seconds is no small feat. But we crafted all the right beats and delivered branded content that served Targets’ goals to perfection.
